Parametric tests of a variety of thrust bearing configurations and operating conditions were studied over the course of the project. Data presented here are for pivoted 6-pad equalizing thrust bearings. The bearing pad surface has an outer diameter of 266 mm, an inner diameter of 133 mm, a 51 degree angle, and a 60% offset pivot.
